Established in 1923, The Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry Company, Limited has a long presence in Hong Kong. Pursuant to a corporate restructuring in 1989, the holding company was renamed “Hong Kong Ferry (Holdings) Company Limited”.

The principal activities of the Group include property development and investment, ferry, shipyard and related operations. The Group now employs about 220 staff.

HKF Group was awarded by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service awarded the "15 Years Plus Caring Company Logo" in recognition and appreciation of the spirit of the practice of good corporate citizenship. Care was awarded this field include "Caring Community", "Care workers" and "caring environment."
